The house was built, but I wasn't happy with the results. It was looking too clean and straight. Also, I received slightly negative feedback about the overall look of the model. At the beginning of this project, I was thinking to create an environment piece with a chicken leg house as a centrepiece. However, I realised that I might not have enough time, so instead, I pushed it more towards character design. The model I created may work nicely for the environment, but as a character, it has no personality. I was told that it should look like a character, it should have some facial features or something which can resemble it. It was a really good point. I haven't considered this before at all, and I stuck to the concept I created for the environment piece. I was also told that it is too straight and rigid and it may look good as an ordinary house, but it's not going to work as a character. It opened my eyes, and I realised that I might have to rebuild the whole structure. I think that if I thought about it earlier, I wouldn't go for modularity. I would instead sculpt and texture each piece individually, to make it look less repetitive. Unfortunately, it is too late now to go for such significant changes, so I was only able to use the models I have and build a new house out of them.
I was trying to add some facial features, so I used windows for eyes and door for a mouth. I rotate the bar above the window towards the middle, which makes the house look more 'angry'. I also used a bend modifier to deform the whole structure to and make it less straight and rigid. I did the same for each log.

I think that the house looks way better now. I gave it some personality, so I think that it may work as a character now. At this stage, I am really behind my schedule, so the next step is to create all of the details quickly.
Since I focused on a build of the house I haven't changed anything in my Trello since my last post.
